Smt. Sudhatai Mandke, a name that needs no introduction in the education fraternity, is the inpiration behind our work. A highly respected teacher of Hindi & Marathi at the Guru Nanak High School, Pune; she dedicted 30 years of her life not only helping her students gain proficiency in these languages but simultaneously also taught them the ways of life. Her life inspired many. She has done an abundance of social work through the 'Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal', to help women empower themselves by teaching them various Arts & Crafts and educating them to be self-sufficient. She was the vice-president of the 'Marathi Natya Parishad' and helped the Marathi theatre industry in more than one ways. She was on the committee of the 'Hindi Rashtra Bhasha Exam' which is widely conducted even today for school students. A people person she always encouraged those around her to be successful, and most importantly become good individuals.It was to keep this amazing spirit alive, that the Mandke Group established the Smt. Sudhatai Mandke College in 2001. Smt. Sudhatai Mandke College is affiliated to the Pune University and also is approved by the Govt. of Maharashtra. It is a Senior College, where the main aim of the organization is to create self assured individuals who will be confident & highly eligible to take up jobs or venture into self-employment.
